Like it but some limitations force me to change this app

This simple app as I was looking for but it has disandvantechis:
1. In the iOS 7 you cant listen music while recording. Audio record is off and mic permission is denied in the settings. But audio is stop when I tap on rec button!
2. You cant change brightness to dim to expand battery life

As 2nd issue is minor. 1st force me to change this app. Despite of full purchase.
